"Dear God, I know I’m a sinner, and I ask for your forgiveness. I believe Jesus Christ is Your Son.  I believe that He died for my sin and that you raised Him to life.  I know you want better for me and from me, so I want to trust Jesus as my Savior and follow Him as Lord, from this day forward. 

Come into my heart and guide my life and help me to do your will.  I realize that I have made past mistakes and errors in judgment, and I still will because I'm not perfect, but I recognize that if I confess them to you, you will forgive and cover me.
